Well & David Corp. is constantly researching new technology of synthetic down to make ready-wear garments. We could assist customers to develop coats and jackets that resemble real feathers.
In terms of warmth, the real-down jackets are warmer, but the difference is not as noticeable as one might think, in fact in wet conditions the feathers lose some of their properties, while the synthetic feathers stay the same. It would not affect by variety of weather conditions. Additional benefit of fake down is more resistant to moisture and dries faster after getting wet. Well & David Corp. is more capable to find an affordable and suitable fake down for customer based on customer request and design.
